How I Learn About The World

The world is a massive, ever-changing puzzle, and I love piecing it together in as many ways as I can. I learn about the world in a mix of different methods, and I think the more variety, the better. I’m lucky to be surrounded by a very diverse group of friends and community, which has been one of the biggest ways I’ve learned about different cultures, perspectives, and experiences. I get to hear their stories, learn from their insights, and see the world through their eyes. Whether it’s casual conversations or deep discussions, I always pick up something new.

Travel is another big way I explore the world. I love visiting new places, whether it’s traveling to a different country or just taking a road trip to a new city. There’s something about seeing how other people live, experiencing new environments, and trying new foods that helps me learn more about the world in a way books and articles can’t quite match.

On a day-to-day basis, I’m also learning through podcasts and social media. I listen to a lot of comedy podcasts, and while they’re primarily for entertainment, I still find that they often offer interesting takes on current events, culture, and even personal growth. Plus, I find Twitter (or X) to be an excellent resource for staying up to date on what’s happening around the world. It’s like getting breaking news before the mainstream media picks it up, and the variety of opinions and voices I get to hear is invaluable.

These methods all resonate with me because they keep learning exciting and dynamic. Whether it’s through hearing firsthand stories, exploring new places, or engaging with media that offers different perspectives, I feel like I’m constantly discovering new ways to understand the world. This mix of exploration, entertainment, and technology really connects with my growing interest in interactive media. Interactive experiences make learning feel more engaging and hands-on, just like the methods I already use. It’s about actively participating in the world, rather than just watching it go by.
